以開放式空間作整體規劃，期望保留開闊感，以舒適輕鬆為主軸，不以過多的裝飾作鋪陳。設計師期望營造以簡約感並存的人文氣息，輔以自然輕透作空間基礎，打造冷靜調性亦不失溫度的居者小殿堂。
For its open and unsophisticated style, the design plan manifests a spacious and comforting living space, in which the elegant characteristic of humanity and nature have prepared the residence with tranquility and warmth meanwhile.
客廳主牆面U型纖維板裝置，不僅表現設計面考量，整合主牆面收納，亦修飾原有的開關箱。纖維板視覺一路延伸至餐廳立面，並與地坪的深沉色對比出強烈的呼應。
Furnishing the walls in the living and dining room, the medium density fiberboards not only envelop the breaker box, but also consistently intensify the visual effect corresponding to the dark floors.
室頂規劃無包覆，以現有狀況作線條延伸裝飾，並管線漆白處理，此作法讓室內擁有更挑高與開闊空間，亦讓餐廳牆面可拉高至頂。餐廳牆繼續以白纖維板與地板木紋材互為配搭，讓整體視覺一致性展現。頂上最吸睛的六個圓型冷氣出風口，也是功能性與視覺效果整合的結果。
In the living and dining room, the ceilings ornamented with exposed pipes enlarge the indoor space. Decorated with the white medium density fiberboards, the walls interact accordantly with the wooden-finished floors. Adorned on the top of wall in the dining room, the 6 air diffusers are eye-appealing without compromising the functionality in the meantime.
設計師將走廊變更於採光處，解決廊道過長與昏暗等問題，不僅增加居者於過道時能多與戶外景色作連結，更讓空間中多出一個溫暖的休憩處。

開放式空間真正延伸出的思考，除須跳脫傳統格局思維，重新考量居者生活習性，以利為空間創造更多附加值。空間規劃的本需觀察自居者的互動慣性，以及場域與場域間的連結性，在本位上講究將空間放大，在精神上講究將人因距離縮小，達到一切美好價值的平衡。
